American Democracy Project Posters
Posters created for an American Democracy Project contest that focus on one tough issue: we have lost the ability to see ourselves in each other.

Problem
With the painful divide in American politics, constructive discourse seems less feasible with every election cycle. Both voters and politicians emphasize personal differences and combativeness rather than focusing on positive outcomes. These posters represent an attempt to bridge the emotional divide using visual comparisons.
Action
I searched for relatable concepts to communicate the negative aspects of this divide. Clubhouse mentality, a failing zipper, and comparing apples to oranges all highlight the sense of needless separation that exists.
